When you are able to tear yourself away from the lodge, we will direct you to the best attractions in the area, including the Drostdy Museum, Bontebok National Park, whilst easy day excursions can be enjoyed to Cape Agulhas, the southern-most tip of Africa and site of numerous ship wrecks, and De Hoop Nature Reserve, where you can view game and explore the golden seashore. A day trip to Witsand via Malgas on the Breede River offers an opportunity to cross the river on the only man-powered Pont in the country.
